Waking up to the sounds of birds

It is so lovely to wake up hearing the sounds of birds in the morning. I am alive, and the universe lives on.

As I tried to listen carefully to the birds, I found myself smiling. I couldn't help but notice how they constantly talk over each other. In human terms, it sounds like a marketplace. Buyers, sellers, workers, idlers, etc., having chats, negotiating, arguing, cracking jokes, gossiping, plotting, and shouts of a thief being chased.

The birds are not singing, and if they are singing, they are so off tune. But let's just call it singing since it sounds better and lifts our spirits. They all have something to say and appear like they all have the need and want to be heard. They have so many stories to tell in the morning. I wonder if they are planning for the day, praying, celebrating, cracking jokes, or talking about their dreams from the previous night.

I could tell there are different species of birds in one tree. I wonder how their little brains can differentiate the singing of each bird in the marketplace and whether their conversations make any sense. I wonder if they have birds who like their mornings quiet and some trying to ask others to lower their voices. Are there some birds who are trying to tell others to shut up, and in the process, they are also part of the noise?

All in all, it is beautiful to hear the birds singing in the morning. Don't wake up too busy. Wake up and tune in to the sounds of nature. Be in touch with nature even if it may sound like a marketplace - there's still beauty in it. Have a blessed month of May.
